More than 2,000 2017 Buick LaCrosse cars were recalled for possible loss of power steering.

General Motors said that improper sealing of the electrical connectors could lead to corrosion from water. The resulting corrosion could cause a loss of power steering in the Buick LaCrosses.

The car could revert to manual driving, which requires more effort from the driver and can be dangerous when the driver is going around a curve or driving at slow speeds.

When power steering is lost, the driver should see a warning light and hear a chime.
