Responsibilities

  • Extensive experience drafting and editing pleadings, briefs, interview memos and other written work product; conducting witness interviews; and preparing for and conducting depositions, arbitrations and trials

Plaintiff Discovery Attorney

Job Title: Plaintiff Discovery Attorney

Department: Litigation

Responsibilities

  • Calendar discovery deadlines including initial discovery responses and supplementation in response to meet and confer letters;
  • Review and analyze complaints/case file to incorporate legal theories into plaintiff’s discovery responses;
  • Supervise discovery assistants in preparation of client discovery packages;
  • Client communication regarding discovery responses from clients;
  • Ability to explain discovery process and clients responsibilities in lawsuit;
  • Review and analyze informal discovery responses from clients;

Call Center Manager

Job Title: Call Center Manager

Department: Client Experience

Reports To: Client Experience Director

Job Location: Century City, California

Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports and analyzing call center performance to metrics to improve processes, ensure resources are properly allocated, and maximize efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • The Call Center Manager is responsible for selecting, providing sales coaching and training, and leading call center representatives as they provide support for our clients.
  • Identify, evaluate and take remedial action on data derived from incoming call patterns.
  • Maintain operating standards for all call center representatives, including, but not limited to, start and stop time schedules, break and lunch schedules, and timekeeping requirements.
  • Assist with the development of staff matrices and goals.  Help establish a goal-centered incentive plans, ensuring that Firmwide goals are met.
  • Liaison between Director of Client Experience and Call Center Quality Manager to ensure all training and monitoring efforts are being properly supported.
  • Answering representative’s questions, guiding them through difficult calls or issues, diffusing angry clients, or handling issues that cannot be fielded by representatives.
  • Lead team meetings, asking questions to better understand the calls representatives are receiving, educating and coaching workers regarding expectations and goals.
  • Assist other management team members in identifying trends and establishing call center goals.
  • Ensure representatives are achieving desired service levels and taking corrective action, as needed.
  • Assume additional tasks or projects to support the Firm, as identified by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Educational Experience – Minimum 5 year’s prior experience as a Call Center Manager required; Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must be tech savvy with working knowledge of all office automation products.
  • Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions and legal data.  Ability to write comprehensive correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.  Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic statistics.
  • Other Skills and Abilities – Strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations.  Customer-oriented mindset whereby employees are provided excellent service with their legal research needs.  Familiarity with complete Microsoft Suite. Previous experience with CRM software.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing programs with multiple projects/work streams
  • Demonstrated experience and implementation success with various agile methodologies
  • Strong ability to use project management tracking and reporting tools
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or Master’s in Computer Science or Business Administration a plus
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment
  • Attention to detail, speed, accuracy and follow-through
  • Cooperative, positive attitude and team player
  • Marketing & Legal project experience is a plus
